• Our November 20th Meeting of the KWVA Chapter 189 will be held in the banquet room at the John Mealy Memorial VFW Post 3282, Port Orange, Florida. The doors will be open for this meeting at 12:00 AM.  Lunch will be available at 12:00 PM. The luncheon meal will be a Selection of Sandwiches, Drinks and Cookies. The cost of the meal will be on a donation basis Please! The official meeting will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. Guests as usual are always welcome.
  

•  Our speaker for the meeting will be Colonel Jason E. Patia, Commander of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 157 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  Colonel served two tours in Korea.  The second speaker will be Jose Rosa, former commander of VFW Post 3282. Jose will speak on what is happening in CUBA and elsewhere as a result of their Socialist Governments.

•  The planning for our Christmas Party is well underway, and the date of the Party is 18 December at the VFW Post.  An announcement of our present plans are summarized in the Notice below. Please plan on joining us. As you can see from the notice below reservations for the party, dinner selection, and the payment for the dinner will be due at our regular 20 November meeting. This is the drop dead date as all meal selections must be in the hands of the cater.  Any questions about the plans for the Christmas Party should be directed to  Joseph Sicinski.
