  • For the last five months Chapter 189 have been maintaining our Korean War display at the New Smyrna Beach Museum just off Canal Street. On November 13th members of the Chapter disassembled the exhibit to permit the New Smyrna Beach Museum to reuse the exhibit space for their Christmas Displays. If you had donated items to the museum display, they will be available to be returned to their owners at the November 19th meeting.  We currently have received several offers to move the contents of our Korean War Display to other locations, and we are considering the possibilities.
  • On Veteran's day November 4th, 2013 three members of our Chapter were recognized for their service to our country and our community at the Dayton State College Veteran's day Services. These members were Bob McGuire, Bob Hawes, and Ruth Heaphy.  Congratulations, we too appreciate your service and we are glad to have you representing the Korean War Veterans of Chapter 189.
