of soliciting for local advertising for inclusion in
this booklet. The booklet is coming along
beautifully and should be ready for printing within
the desired deadline. In addition to commerical
ads one of the pages of the convention booklet will
contain the names of KWVA boosters. If you
would like your name included on this booster
page, and have not signed up, the cost is $10.

pay your 2015 dues - Please send your check for $10 to
KWVA, POB 214005, South Daytona 32121. Stay

During the past several
months the Chapter has been presenting the "Tell
America" Program to a number of organizations. If
you know an organization that might want to learn
about the history of the Korean War please contact
Bob McGuire at we would be pleased to set up a
presentation.
In
recent days we have become aware that their are
Veterans in our community that have recently died
and have not been provided with an opportunity to
receive a military ceremony in their memory.
Chapter 189 of the KWVA does not that
this is proper, and have decided to present
a small final military ceremony for any Veteran that
requests it. If you know
of a Veteran that needs a final military ceremony
please contact Bob McGuire at 386.323.6401 and we
will attempt to get that request fulfilled.
Sick Call: As far as I know
most of the our members that have been under repair
for the last several months are working their way back
to health. Our Chapter Secretary Dee Hawes is in
the process of an extended recovery from hip surgery
and we wish her a speedy and complete recovery.
Nancy McGuire is experiencing recurring pain in her
upper spine as a result of a past accident. At
this time the process of reducing or eliminating this
pain is still under examination. Keep Nancy in your
prayers as the doctors work on a plan for her
recovery. If you know of someone who could use our
prayers just let the Chapter Secretary know and we
will be sure to include them in our list of concerns.
